Issue #7 will focus on Through: Through a pandemic, Through state violence, Through relationships and experiences and this first year of the second decade of the 2000s. Coupled with that is the fact that many people have been going Through long before this year--far more than your cishet whiteboy curator has--and Issue #7 is also a space for these stories as well.
We have finished accepting submissions and reading for Issue #7, and will be in print in late February or early March, 2021. Chack back soon for the issue!
If you have an idea for a book or a theme for a collection, we're open to suggestions. Send us an email!

Readers: We'll be looking for a few readers to go over submissions and give insightful feedback. Please email (found at the bottom of this page) if interested.
We do accept simultaneous submissions, just please let us know if your work finds a home elsewhere before we get back to you.
In all cases, please include your name and email in your submission in the header of each page. You may exclude the first page if your name/email is outside of the header.
Please also include a sentence or two at the end stating how the piece connects to the theme of Through. This isn't for publishing, but for our readers to check that they didn't miss the direction of your piece.
Fiction: Please submit double-spaced, 12 point font stories of upwards of 2,500 words in an editable file format--.doc preferred. The 2,500 words is not a hard limit, but at 10 point font it translates to 7-10 pages per story. Genre fiction is considered within the context of the theme: Through.
Poetry: Please submit up to five poems in an editable file format--.doc preferred. We use a 10 point font as the default size, so if you use a lot of different sizes in your typography include a note indicating which lines/size is your default size.
Essays: Please submit double spaced, 12 point font essays in an editable file format--.doc preferred. We shoot for essays not more than 1,500 words, but like Fiction that is not a hard cut-off.
Visual Arts: Please submit up to five visual arts in a compressed file format--png or jpg/jpeg--with at leas 300 DPI at the dimensions to be printed. Our page size of printable area is 4.5" x 7.5". You may include text. We display some art as partial pages, and will commeunicate with you if this is what we are thinking for yours. Feel free to veto this in your submission.
